Not in Xcalak, Mayan Beach Garden is in El Placer north of Majahual

Mayan Beach Garden - Jardín Maya Del Playa
El Placer, Costa Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Just north of Majahual (Mahahual)

Ecological Experience on the Costa Maya

Mayan Beach Garden Inn now taking reservations!

Located on the white beaches of the Costa Maya, Mayan Beach Garden offers a unique mixture of hospitality and seclusion that can't be found on the crowded hotel zone of Cancun or noisy hotels of Playa del Carmen.

Mayan Beach Garden is located about 20 km north of Mahajual (also spelled Mahahual and Majahual) and known as the Costa Maya Port, Mexico's newest cruise ship destination. We're far enough away from the crowds to provide the quiet and seclusion that you want, but close enough to the town of Mahahual to take advantage of the exciting tourist industry that Mexico provides.

Kayaks on the beach

Mayan Beach Garden features all-solar powered beach-view cabanas, each with a private bath and palapa covered deck overlooking the Caribbean. Cabanas are light and airy, designed to catch the Caribbean trade winds. Each cabana faces the beach, includes ceiling fans and you won't have to take a hotel elevator to get to the beach.

Mayan Beach Garden is fortunate to be part of El Placer bay which has white sandy beaches - the kind that never gets hot because it's created from coral instead of silica.
Unique touches of elegance set the rooms apart, such as large bathrooms and showers and hand-painted sinks.
Mayan Beach garden is not the type of place where you have to take the elevator to the beach. Step outside the door and walk just a few steps to the beach.
Handcrafted furniture made by local Maya decorate every room.
Each cabana has its own private palapa deck -- perfect for an afternoon snooze.
Here's the view that you will have while lounging in a hammock in the shade of your own palapa deck.

There are two ways to lay in a hammock, the Mayan way and the "other" way. Most of us lay in a hammock lengthwise, but Mayans lay in a hammock widthwise which allows them to lay straight. However you decide to do it, its a great way to pass the day.

Sunrise comes early, but you can see this view without ever getting out of bed.

Room rates include a full breakfast with coffee, juice and fresh fruit. For an additional $19.50us per person you can add on lunch and dinner. (see sample menus)
